We’re looking for a bright and enthusiastic Digital/Social Media intern to work with Hale Community Trust (HCT) for a 12 month unpaid Internship placement to help promote the Trust’s work and help develop HCT’s social media presence within the local community.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable work experience in social media marketing field. The post holder will be able to develop their knowledge and skills while at the same time making a significant contribution to the local community.
Supported and directed by HCT’s Communications Steering Group, the post holder will be required to help:
The post holder will be a key member of HCT’s Communications Group. Initially, it is anticipated that this role will require up to two days time, however, this will remain under review.
You don’t need to have a degree or qualification in digital marketing to apply for this role. This is an opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about social media/digital marketing and wants to develop their knowledge and skills in this field while at the same time supporting their local community.
You will need to be organised, numerate, analytical and precise in your writing. You will need an inquisitive and analytical mind and a desire to learn and apply your knowledge to support HCT’s overall aims.
You will be able to work collaboratively within a team, have a good sense of humour and have good interpersonal and communication skills.
You will be a Hale resident or part of the local community.
Hale Community Trust is a community group and registered charity with the aim of making Hale a vibrant place to live, visit, shop and work. The purpose of this role is to support and promote the Trust’s work, in particular its progress in delivering a new Community Centre and Library at the centre of Hale Village.
We would like to appoint by the end of December 2020 for an initial 12 month period with a view to extending or developing the role further if it is successful.
